bottom corner of control panel darker?

No matter if I switch it up to landscape or portrait it always goes darker on bottom lower corner. So strange. Is it something with the transparency. Even on white backgrounds we hen I pull up control panel it looks darker.

Mind you with control panel down and a blank white screen it all looks same.
