it's hardly noticeable when looking at it, but I can really feel it with my finger. Do you think if I take it to a genius bar they can raise it a bit somehow? My friend has a mbpro that she got well before I got my mbair, she also clicks more than I do (I tap more often) and hers is perfectly flush with the rest of the palmrest area.
 
mine is also not flush on the all corners except one since i bought it. i wonder if it's a quick fix too..
 
I had the same issue and was told that it is because the whole thing moves but not flexes so the left side could be pushed down and the right side would go back up. I would say just live with it but you could get a replacement if you REALLY wanted.
 
That's normal folks. Think of it as a non-visual clue to let you know whether you are still on the trackpad surface or not. If you focus on stuff like this, you will drive yourself nuts.
