Hi, first post on here for me, although I've been reading for a while.
Bought a 13" MBP a few weeks ago. Last night I noticed that on the right hand corner furthest from the hinge the bottom panel is slightly misaligned from the rest of the base unit. It kind of bulges out very very slightly (maybe half a milimetre). It took me 3 weeks to really notice it, but now it's pissing me off. It's hard to see, but you can clearly feel it when you run your hand over the join between the bottom panel and the rest of the base unit.
Anyway, I think I see what the problem is. The screwhole in that corner of the bottom panel isn't dead centre with the screw itself, which looks to be contorting the join. Has anyone got a similar thing going on? It doesn't affect usability of course, and I would loath to take it back (plus I suspect Apple would not offer to do anything). I am thinking of unscrewing the panel and re-seating it to see if that would solve it. Would I be at risk of voiding the warranty?
