Just like the title says, I bought a mbp 2 months ago and now Apple releases a new OS. Do I get a free upgrade or do I have to bite the bullet?

Thanks guys

The free upgrade started yesterday, release in July for $29.99 so your not out much, plus you can put it on 10 computers With no additional cost.

You're not entitled to anything. Apple is a business, they are there to make money.

C'mon $29.99 isnt that bad for a new OS. If this was MS they'll probably charge you 5X the price and only give you one license.

It's $30 bucks, it's in the app store which means you can buy using iTunes gift cards... which btw are on sale 15% off at Best Buy this week. So go buy and save a few bucks ;-)

Windows 7 - $125 on Amazon...you just paid $1200 for a shiney new laptop, I don't think the $30 is going to break the bank.
