Hey guys,

First post so take it easy ;) Got an iPad 2 a week ago and downloaded some paid apps, checked the my card is registered and it is.

It has now been a week and I have not been charged. What is this?

This might not be an issue but I made my Apple account AGES ago, iPod Nano 1st generation time and at the time you didn't need a credit card to register. Now my credit card appears as

****-****-****-1234

Do those * make a difference (I know it's for security) or maybe this is some sort of glitch?

Any help would be appreciated! :D Cheers

That is funny, because if iTunes had an invalid form of payment associated with your account, then your account would very likely be disabled if it had tried to [finally] bill you and it couldn't go through. Then you'd not be able to download anything at all until you contacted support and got it sorted.

So, I guess that's not the case.

The reason they wait is that that all the purchases made in that week or two can be grouped together. You see the credit card companies charge the merchant a fee for every transaction. So it's a waste of money to charge a bunch of 99¢ purchases individually.
