I was at Best Buy and a guy was trying to recycle an old iBook that he didn't want at all. I told him that I fixed up old Macs and it turned out that I wrote him a check for $20.

Guess what? The iBook worked perfectly so far and the battery was just a tad bit old but mostly functional. Right now I'm just charging it up right now.

Conclusion... was it worth paying $20 for a functional iBook 1.2Ghz basic model? I hope so because I already switched out to the new Intel chips except for a 17" Powerbook G4.

Any opinions on this find?

Okay looks like the only bad things here after testing is a failing hard drive and "bad" airport extreme card? I will be testing this soon.

Working, it is worth around 180 200 depending on memory/hd/battery status you scored.
