bought a MBA looking to connect to a droid

I just got my brand new MBA and am now exploring the only thing I've never had to do on a mac before. My home computer is now a pc and my smart phone is the droid 2. Is there anything out there to allow me to share information between these devices. apps, freeware, tips, tricks, anything really..

i got double twist already.. and I'm assuming google calendars is my best bet in that direction.. wish cozi worked..
I noticed evernote is now available to android, ill have to test if that works on both..

I've read tons of TERRIBLE reviews for that.

Use DoubleTwist for photos and music, use Google Calendar for your calendar, and use Gmail for your contacts and email. Boom. Everything will sync through the cloud except for your photos/music. But even then, DoubleTwist has wireless syncing
