Bought a MBP and need to import iPhone info

I sold my desktop PC but I saved all of my iTunes and iPhone folders including my backups. I would like to import that stuff into my MBP so that I can restore my iPhone in order to get all of my apps and saved games back. What is the best way to do this?

Also in order to do my music, I'll need to import it into my MBP and then create the playlist in iTunes for my iPhone right?
