Bought a new imac

im upgrading to a 20" intel core 2 duo
from my g4 emac,
its going to be quite a jump, and im super excited
i just want to know if its possible to transfer programs over,
i dont have the discs since this mac came with programs im needing to transfer (photoshop cs2, office 2003)
is this possible through firewire transfer?

Firewire with setup assistant that will come on when you start up your computer for the first time (assuming you are getting it through apple if not I am sure there is a way to start it up again) will transfer everything (including settings and programs) over to your new computer in about 30min to an hour and you'll be ready to go.

I didn't have to reinstall any of my programs.

i just wanted to be sure, im using panther and the imac will be on tiger,
i dont see it affecting anything though.
but yes i bought it straight from apple.
