I´ve been using Windows computers for 20 years, but got fed up with the way Microsoft treats Windows 10 with all the updates and tracking. Been eyeing MacBooks for some time and was lucky to find a 2015 MacBook in mint condition (exterior at least). It´s the 1.2Ghz, 512GB SSD version.

The battery has seen 218 charge cycles and can hold 84% of it´s original capacity.

At the moment the battery indicator tells me I´ve got 6 hours (94%) left until it´s completely drained. This is with brightness set to 60% and only running safari to make this thread.

Is this normal or reason to be worried?

This is quite normal. Mine is a 2015 model (battery April 2015) on 76% of its original capacity. I am on 582 cycles though. Its health flattened out after 2 years of use when I started to use it on mains. Prior I had to use it on battery most of the time.
