Hey everyone,
I preordered a 128GB iPhone 6 last night, but my final price for the device was $649 at checkout.
I called Apple this morning to see why it was so high, should've been around $430.Apple tells me I need to speak with AT&T because it looks like I got a partial upgrade price instead of the full upgrade price of $399.
After two phone calls with AT&T that lasted an hour, they tell me I got charged $250/early upgrade price and my full upgrade price isn't available until 9/26 and I need to wait.
So I went on apple.com and canceled my order.
Here is the kicker, my brother who purchased his iPhone 5 on 9/28 (two days after me) got the full upgrade price, but I'm ineligible. How does that work?!
I can't believe they are nitpicking to the exact day my two-year contract expires.
