Bought an unlocked iPhone...

Its a 3GS 32GB. Bought it off eBay. I know.... Trying to make sure its unlocked. Would using it with an ATT sim lock it? I didn't think it would, but wanted to make sure. Its not giving me a message that its unlocked in iTunes, but its from another country for sure and it is working with ATT. Gonna try restoring without a sim.

Also, could I take it into a TMobile store to check it out? Make sure?
