After reading on here about authorized resellers in Japan with stock, I walked in to one of these stores, and walked out an hour later with a watch. SS classic buckle.

Now to cancel my pre-order!

Highly doubt it. The watch being in such high demand it's really hard to believe it was that easy just to walk in and buy it.

Not a troll - see my post history. Sorry if my message was troll like. I wasn't trying to sound - look what I got. I was genuinely surprised at being able to do so. Seems Japan got special treatment. There were at least 3 non-apple stores selling them in Tokyo this morning.

If they do have stock in some Apple stores here in the US, you know people are going to point the angry finger at Ahrendts again.

Here's proof of the watch being sold

Well we did know they were being sold in some selected boutiques. I assume that the people that normally shop at these places have no clue they will be selling the watch there. The only people that would know are people that check these sites, and that's not saying a whole lot.

So I believe you, & I'm not at all surprised.

I'm not surprised. I believe he did buy one.

So many people, as proven in this thread alone, are negative and closed minded. That's a losing attitude.

People who think positive and take action, get results, it's just that simple. The side affect of this is the haters get louder.

Read OP comment:

"[–]aborren 1 point an hour ago
Yea they opened up a boutique for the Apple Watch in the quite exclusive store Isetan in Shinjuku, Tokyo"

We knew this.

Ahrendts is only doing what her boss approved.

Women haters should back off.

Make no mistake, I take no position against Ahrendts whatsoever, and in fact, I'm very supportive of more women in power and control to equalize what is obviously off-balance in the corporate world and in government, but I'm merely pointing out that with the haters (women or otherwise) already place, and if this were to ever happen in a retail Apple Store on or near launch day, it would only be fuel to the fire.

That store told me they were doing online only a few days back. Not sure if something changed.

oh hey OP! I believe i saw your quote on my post on the other Japan thread. Great to hear that you were able to get one.
I visited the place in the morning too, and was surprised to find out that there were various other places that sells them. If I remember correctly, there were three color bands available for sports bands.
Anyways, congrats! Looks like Japan got special treatment :)

There's a very high end outdoor mall near my home. One of the most exclusive in the USA, it's a collection of shops representing the fashion industry's best designers. After my Watch arrives in the morning, I am going there just for fun to see if Apples claim of these ultra luxury retailers offering the watch is true.
