i want to upgrade my mbpr15 hd to a 1TB hd. should i get a hybrid hd and if so, what brand and model number? How much faster will it be over the standard hd? Thanks.

If u are gonna go hybrid, at least make it a 2tb

I agree. I'd pick up one of the 1TB SSDs available now. I've never heard great things about the hybrid drives anyway.

*edit* I just re-read the original post. If you have a retina MBP, you can't use a normal HDD or hybrid anyway.
