Back in October I bought an iPhone 3gs from craigslist. Everything was working fine until a few days ago...have been getting dropped calls & intermittent WiFi signals. The phone is not jailbroken. I want to make an appointment with Apple, but am wondering if they will help me since I don't have the receipt or even the original packaging...

You don't need a receipt or the original box, all they (Apple Genius) will do is type in the serial number into their system and if the phone is still covered under warranty, they will swap it for free, otherwise it will be a $199 out of warranty service fee (they will charge you for a swap).

Check to see if your device is still under warranty here:https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do

With Apple, the Warranty follows the device and not the owner.
