I was wondering if it was possible to still order a free case even though I bought an iPhone off of Craigslist and not an AT&T customer. I downloaded the app but after I login I receive an error: "Sorry but your request could not be processed. Please try again later." Does anyone know a way around this? I really hope the kid I bought it from will let me get a free case some how lol

No you have order the bumpers directly from the phone itself. No phone on hand = no bumper.

You probably need those bumpers to protect the death grip on the phone's you no longer own, right?
You need to install the app on the phone and select the bumper. So no, you can't get a free bumper for a phone that you don't own.
You will only get a bumper if you have proof of purchase for the device. Or I could give my iphone to my friends and each of them could get a bumper I could sell them all and split the cash. So NO you can not get a free bumper, however the person you bought it from can

yes i do have proof of purchase as I was the one who placed the orders.
UPDATE: just launched the app again and I am able to redeem a case. If anybody else was in the same situation as I was, register your iPhone 4 serial with your AppleID on Apple.com and then you will be able to get your case. It might take a couple hours for this to take effect. It took about 4-5 hours after registration for me. Hope this helps
