I have a iMAc G5 20" which I bought in the US. I now live in Japan and want to buy extra memory. Is there any difference??

Yes, two differences that I can think of. The first is the package will be marked in Japanese instead of English. The second is that the price will be in Yen instead of US Dollars.

As long as you get the correct memory for your system, you'll be okay. There is no difference in the memory needed just based on where the machine was bought. They're all made in the same factory (or set of factories).

one more difference... RAM in japan tends to be more expensive... (well, i guess things are generally more expensive in japan, period.)
