bought macbook 2.4 c2d for $282

Like the title says I bought a macbook 2.4 c2d with the x3100 integrated video card for $282. I believe this is either the early 2008 or late 2008 model. Is this a good price for this computer?

Thanks but I wasn't really sure if I made a good choice. I'm still having my doubts right now but I guess we'll find out the condition when it arrives next week.

Good price (for a working C2D) especially since there are some who are trying to get that much for their iBook G4 computers.

btw, I check and it is most likely the early 2008 as the late 2008 model came with a 2.1GHz processor.

awesome! I'm really excited to get my first mac! Is there any sticky or recommendations in this forum as to what to check for when I get the macbook besides the obvious such as does it turn on, sound, cracks, bulding battery, and bad hard drive?

That is a great website by the way. The Late 2008 MacBook was an aluminum unibody as was renamed the 13" MacBook Pro the next time it was refreshed.

We have one, running 6 GB of OWC RAM,(4+2) along with an OWC 480 GB
SSD.it is in mint condition, and set aside for my Grandaughter when she starts College next Fall.After I wiped the SSD, I loaded Lion, and it just screams!
My wife and I will have to suffer with our 2 MBA's (2010,1.6/4GB/480GB OWC SSD's
I still have my 2007 BMB ,2.2/4GB/480 GB OWC SSD,with a fresh install of Lion, and a new OWC battery,I plan on moving all my pictures and video to
