Hello all,

First post! I have been lurking around the forum for quite some time. I decided to pick up a macbook pro today because I was able to get a pretty good educational discount.

I have the 15" MacBook Pro top end with the matte screen.

Everything seems perfect right now. However, even when the volume is at 50%, and I play something that has bass in it, the RIGHT palm rest shakes/vibrates a lot, and you can feel it. It is a tad bit annoying.

I was wondering if this was normal.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I just did a google search, it is a pretty common "inconvenience". I will see if the laptop has any other faults before I return it.

The computer does have a "subwoofer" installed, so that bass frequency has to go somewhere...

Returning it isn't going to fix anything, it's just the sound doing what it does.

well obviously the palmrest is going to shake......the sound waves pound against the casing. Its very normal and happens in every laptop....
