15.4, The text/fonts are small. Wow, It is a good thing I didn't get the Hi Res.
Unless they scanned the wrong barcode at apple. Why are the pages small? It doesn't take much of the screen. 1440x900, I can't see much in mail, and fonts on this page is small.

pinch and zoom brother! and the rigid lines in the bottom right hand corner makes ur pages bigger. you can call me captain obvious

It's all relative to what you are used to using. I've always used a 15" laptop as my main computer. For me the fonts on a 1440x900 are too large, & too much scrolling is required. I prefer the hi res. Finally Apple has given us two resolutions to choose from.

I doubt they did, but it's easy to check - open System Preferences, select Displays and see what resolution is in use (and what are available).

As others have said, depends very much what you're used to. If you've previously used a 15" 1280x800 PC laptop the fonts may well look small. I previously used a 12" 1280x800, which is a similar dot pitch to the HR, and found the 1440x900 very low density. Give it a couple of days and it will become normal.
