Bought (today) 2G iPhone to use as iPod Touch

And I read about jailbreaking it from the Sticky above, but still am unclear where to start. Which application do I need to download (on OS X) to be able to unlock/jailbreak this 1st Generation iPhone 8GB??? All I want to do is be able to use it as an iPod Touch - I don't need the phone functionality. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I followed the instructions and now I have an 8GB iPod Touch!

Good site...

I have my old iPhone, use it to play Pandora in the house and as an iPod when I work out. Still works great!

I jailbroke it just for fun but didnt add anything

My idea exactly - my wife wanted it for the BOSE - Pandora radio combo. No other Pandora iPod would charge on the BOSE - I knew the 1st Gen. iPhone would though!
