Bought used ipad 2. Should I do a hard reset?

Like the title says. I bought a used load from a friend and would like to know if I should completely reset to factory. Or if the data wipe is enough? He wiped it before I got it. I logged in under my account and everything seems fine. But I was curious what others thoughts are?

yup leave it alone. i only do hard reset if my ipad freezes or won't turn on.

I would say that, since you know that the wipe was done, that's good enough.

If someone were to buy used from an an unknown source though (eBay, etc.), I would recommend doing a wipe to be sure.
