Recently I purchased a MBP that had issue with the screen, I sent it back...
I bought another unit. This thing looks like bought from original owner (comes with box, original gray CDs, etc).
I have booted up from the second disc and pressed D.
I ran the normal test and it passed.
I did notice the touchpad to be iffy when moving slow movements, it's fine if I'm dragging straight lines across up and down left and right.
So I picked extended mode.
Pass number 2
It's sitting at total time testing 8 min 33 sec.
The progress bar is not moving past where it's right above the "Testing Memory."
Bar ends at the . area and does not progress.
Any thoughts?
EDIT:
Progress bar jumped a bit and now time is 24 min 55 sec.
OK so it's moving.
Now is the mouse cursor "iffy" when using AHT?
As in the "driver" not so precise?
I see only two tiny scratches on the bottom of the unit and a tiny mark on top lid from maybe a drop of water or something like that as if when carrying in a wet hand.
Everything else looks as if I was buying it brand new from AAPL.
