Bowers & Wilkins MM-1 with Dual Monitors

I have dual TB displays and my MM-1 speakers cannot reach both ends of the monitor. Anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it?

I have TBD #1 centered on my desk with the MM-1 on the both sides like normal but behind the monitor. I have TBD #2 at a 135 degree angle and align it.

I believe that B&W dealers sell extension cables for the MM-1s in order to allow increased distance between the speakers. I thought about buying MM-1s and this was a concern of mine also.
