Just FYI...
Apple Watch Aluminum/Sport watches with original packaging fit in a USPS medium flat rate box (13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8"). There's obviously extra space in the ~12" dimension that requires packing material.
I needed to ship a watch and didn't have a box big enough readily available and I couldn't find this info in a web search. I could have purchased a smaller box and shipped priority without the flat rate but after purchasing a box and making another stop, any savings under the priority flat rate would be spent.
