Boy is this thing big! With my 1st Picture

In a Van Down By The River! Metro Detroit!
Hi guys/gals…

just got my 3gs and I have to say it so much bigger than my old clamshell Samsung. That said, I LOVE IT! I’ve always been a Apple guy (check my sig) but I guess I’ve been fending off the urge to get one. Got the 32gb 2nd gen Touch at xmas time and it was all over for me!! I knew I “needed” the real thing. On the Touch I accrued about 120 apps. (yes I don’t use a lot of them). One thing that I was kind of surprised at was how much thicker the iphone is over the 32g Touch but all that “power” in your hands without wifi is really really cool!

Same thing that ticked me off on the Touch was the lack of keeping multiple apps open at the same time. (this is one of the main reasons for getting the 3gs and not the 3g because of the speed and my hopes of Apple opening up Multitasking?) But I guess I can do that now via wifi with my touch and iPhone..LOL.. yes I know about JB but just really don’t want the hassle of it locking up.

I’m also finding out that owning an iPhone is like owning a Jeep Wrangler. You just want to buy everything for it ie CASES!!... I first got the OtterBox Defender because I wanted something rugged for outdoor use. I have a clear one now on the way, but trolling around MR I’ve seen about 6 cases that I want also. I already have a lot of accessories for my old ipods and the 2nd gen touch so I’m all about the cases now.

Well MR is such a great and informative site I’ve learned a lot in the last 2 weeks even though I just got the phone on Friday!!

If I had $200 laying around, I would have fixed my driveway before buying a phone. That's just me though....

fix my driveway? hahah sorry I think 200 bones aint gunna fix that... but it can bring instant happiness!! Enjoy that 3GS!! its pretty frickin cool
 
this all started after a tornado hit the house!!
this remodel is taking forever! ... driveway is scheduled for 3 weeks after the drains are put in across the front of the house.. don't know if i can stand the sand for that long tough... been through a few dishonest contractors in the process, but karma is a b!tch.....:D
 
There is no locking up at all as you mentioned. Check out the video in my signature and you will see why.
