Haha, congrats on the purchase. Get that RAM in that sucker and go wild! Well, not too wild. I'm pretty sure some things aren't covered by warranty. ;)

Just don't let the Mac Pro find out she/he wasn't the first...otherwise you might have trouble accessing some of the ports on backside. ;)

Other than that enjoy!...congrats!

I hope you don't have to return it!!

I got my Mac Pro 2.66, 750 Gigs, 4 Gig Ram/Heat Sink & Windows XP, Final Cut Pro, Sorenson Squeeze Ready at the Apple Store in San Mateo and was just sooo happy like your going to feel when you pull yours out of the box. I got it all set up and BAM the DVD/CD drive didn't work. So I dragged it into San Francisco Store and got a new one. The best part is everyone's face when your in line paying for it. Jealously surrounds you my friend.

Here's my set up with 2 24" Gateway HD LCD Monitors, B2031A Behringer Studio Monitors, 30 Gig Video Ipod, M-Audio Audiophile Firewire & ALL Monster Cable Connected.

Monster Power is coming soon!

I just wanted to brag with you dude!

Just curious: Why Monster cables? I heard that they're a bit overpriced and was curious. You seem to be happy with them, though.

Wow, this thread = back from the dead.

Yea I'm an ex-Monster guy. I love Mogami, but both are good.

I have noted many people hate Monster cables… I do too.

But I still have to say the quality of the cables are impeccable; I have cables that have fallen apart over a year or so; jackets breaking or rubber cracking. Monster not so, I have component cables from 8 years ago that I bought and they still look like new. Sure they cost me $100, but at least it's not lost.

needs some Apple Cinemas to finish off the look

Congratulations :) I'm jealous. Coming from the PC world I'm always amazed at how tidy and professional the inside of a Mac Pro looks.

Me too.
Actually, the insides of ANY Mac that I've seen is clean and tidy. Amazing, because hardly anyone looks inside their computer. I wonder why they bother but am glad they do...

Your Setup is Awesome
...but my trashcan is better than yours!

Your Trashcan is Cute! :) Does he move? or Beep? Or maybe even empty himself into the dumpster?

Have Fun,
Keri
