brand new 13" retina line in

Hi all... i remember on 2012 13" models you could switch line in port of the 3.55 jack in settings .. is this option gone on the new 13" retina?

If I plug in an iPhone headphones/mic, both the headphones and external mic are shown. So it seems to switch automatically for that.

I don't have a line-in only device to test though.

I think a microphone device will appear under System Preferences -> Sound -> Input.

13" rMBP late-2013. So its there.

Hmm so it says its only line-in with the iPhone headset but I think the Y-adapters might still work too...
