Brand new iPad 2 refuses to restore, stuck on "waiting for ipad"

As title suggest, my new replacement iPad 2 came in DFU mode right out of the box, and when attempting to restore, iTunes simply gets stuck on "waiting for ipad" and the progress bar on the iPad just doesnt move at all.

Is there any way at all to fix this? Or will I have to send this one back to crApple as well?

Sorry for bumping this but have you found any solution?
Same story this side. Ipad 2 only shows connect to itunes and when it's connected it cannot restore. Stuck on apple logo with a dead progress bar and in itunes just says "Waiting for iPad"

I have tried everything and I am at wits end.
