My new iPad Pro 11 128 has a tiny scratch on display can I just put a glass cover to hide it then going back and return and rebuy to much a hassle ?

Why would you want to cover the scratch? It will still be there, and you will continue to see it (and it will likely continue to bother you)

Not sure why you offered that information - but if your iPad is brand new, you can send it back for a refund.
Or, if you are asking about what to do with the AppleCare +, and you have scratched your display, you can use an incident to get the display replaced for $49.
I was thinking putting glass cover and buying apple a care plus that already purchased.
I would say if you’re within the return window I will return it and re-buy it either same day or the next day
If something happens like this to me, and since I am a grown-up, I would not even bother posting this kind of question. I don’t need any handholding. depending on the type of scratch I would either just live with it or call Apple and use my applecare plus. 🤷♂️ Simple

Was the scratch there when he opened the box?
If not, just how "brand new" is the iPad? More than a day or two is plenty of time to get a micro scratch.
If it was opened a day or three before noting this scratch, why hadn’t a screen protector been on hand immediately upon opening?
Is there really a scratch? Still no photo supplied.
Adding a screen protector is not going to hide the scratch-providing it’s even there.
In my experience, Apple will require you to remove the screen protector prior to returning it.
‘as someone stated above, this post is a waste of everyone’s time. Put on the big boy pants and just return it.

I should my store has zero stock
I saw the whole screen dusty when I opened it and delivery dates are for next week sadly ?
Update returning it for a replacement and the Apple care plus purchased seperate will be transfer offered
I would say depends on how tiny... If we're talking hairline barely visible, a matte screen protector would "hide it" but glass protectors - I can still see tiny spots through them.
My devices are tools... tiny little scratches are normal operating procedures for me. Now a massive key gouge scratch that's 1-2 inches long... yeah ... I might try to replace it. lol.
