1 remaining at time I checked. The storage is pretty decent. RAM okay but GPU and CPU a bit low. You could fix that. Price is costly, but the others I quickly checked are also pricey.

I imagine 28 core machines would be way more again.

GPU is easily fixed with a 6900xt and I guess you could grab a 24core cpu for about £450 or wait for them to come down in price…… you would void the warranty if you upgraded the cpu or could you just swap the cpu back if it developed a fault elseware while under warranty?

I did notice earlier in the week it changed to bids starting at £1500, but then reverted back to ‘buy it now’ at the lower price of £1800 (from £2100)….. ;)
I don’t ’really’ need one, but I can’t help liking them….. 🥴

they are a quality unix workstation which has many years life left in it.....you could buy it with the view that if you can register the warranty and applecare, if it breaks during that time they would likely upgrade you to the 2023 mac pro......or a newer one if that comes along!

also good to be able to dual boot to windows 11 as well.

I think they would accept £1700
