Hi all,

I just got this 13-inch MacBook Pro on Friday. Everything I've read absolutely raves about the battery life. However, I only get about 2 hours per charge; I got waaaaay longer on my year-old MacBook I just sold. I have Firefox and Pages running, but nothing else. Am I doing something wrong?

I calibrated the battery, and still no more than 2 hours of battery life [just checking email, working on a paper in MS Word]. Brightness on medium. No music playing, no wireless internet, no bluetooth on.

I talked to a guy at AppleCare and he said that was "typical". WTF? I just sold a MacBook whose battery consistently lasted 3 hours.

And see what it reports for max capacity, cycle count, and health.
