Brand new Macbook Pro, wifi issues.

Hi, I just upgraded my old 13 inch macbook to a retina macbook pro with force touch..loving the upgrade, but everytime I close the macbook and use it later on, even though it connected to the wifi, the internet doesn't work and i need to turn off wifi and turn it back on again. i did searches and this is a common problem for yosemite, but i've only connected this laptop to 1 network, the issues online are from laptops connecting to multiple networks.

any advice here?

Have you tried removing the wifi network and re-adding it?

Apple Menu - System Preferences - Network - Assist Me (Bottom left) - Diagnostics

There's a known issue with wifi and Yosemite.
