brand new Magic Trackpad won't turn on out of the box

I haven't tried a new set of batteries yet as I'm very far away from where I can get some.


Is it typical that these come with flat batteries out of the box?

Did you hold the button ? You sure the batteries are in the correct +/- positions ?
