Brand New MBP 14" came with cycles on the battery?

iStat was one of the first things I installed, and noticed that the battery already had 3 cycles on it right outside of the box? assuming all macbooks probably go through some trial cycles before being packaged and shipped? Anyone else notice

That’s normal. I have seen some report 6 out of the box.

Factory testing cycles. You should know that some have way more in their brand new units.

Which tells you not to trust coconut battery. That's like 40 years lol...
