I just got my first MacBook Pro 15" and noticed some weird graphics problems. First of all, when using Safari, in gmail, the image would become completely garbled. I changed the power settings so that it no longer switches automatically and also stopped using switched to Mozila--no more problems.

Then, this morning, I was doing an image search in google and noticed that the screen picture sometimes got jerky.

Should I take this in to the genius?

Thanks

Funny, now hat you mention it my 15" i5 MBP that I just bought a month ago had similar issues when I first fired it up. Then I installed my standard system image and ran updates and everything has been dandy.
Before I got around to installing the image I did play around with browsing and such and it seemed like Flash in particular was problem (oh that again).
I wonder if the version of Snow that comes on stock MBP's has some kind of wonky driver?
If it's flash, gee guys. Won't apple and adobe just hug and make up? Adobe CS on Macs is like Office on PCs. Fricking ubiquitous. Every creative pro I know uses Adobe on a Mac. But I cant help but wonder here.

even if it's for reassurance, take it in and get it checked. The behavior that you are experiencing isn't normal.
