Well I bought a new 13" macbook pro about a week and a half ago and I just got around to taking it out of the box about 3 hours ago... What I started noticing is that the internet was running really slow and I just thought it was the internet, but my iBook is up and running and it has faster speeds than my MPB... Any ideas as to why?

I hope you don't expect all websites to load the same speed:eek:. Also, I'm not sure it's possible (please correct me if I'm wrong) to run both connections on a 5 GHz band. One (your uMBP) must be on the 2.4 GHz band. Also, going back to my opening statement: servers on the other end might have something to do with it too.

no I just decided to test it out and I opened up the ibook and would enter the same URL and hit enter at the same time... Every website opened quicker on the iBook, but the good news now is that the macbook is now lightning fast and quicker than the iBook! How you ask? I dont know and kinda dont care! haha Thanks for trying to help me out!
