Are there any known issues with site loading very slow on their first load on a new MBP? Once the site is loaded a first time and future visits seem fine. Ive never seen it before like this so asking to see if there is anything known out there.

Thanks

You've definitely seen it before.

It's called caching. Basically on that first load the website will download temporary data to your computer so that the next time you load the page there are files that can be accessed quickly and don't need to be re downloaded from the website.
