So long story short, I bought a BRAND NEW 2.7GHZ Core i7 16GB Board, which is beautiful looking haha, installed it into my mac, worked great then, it started acting SUPPPPER SLOWWWW, under the Activity Monitor "kernel task"is taking up almost 600% of CPU, and 80% of the system altogether, which is causing it to slow, Does this stupid Kernel Task b.s. have anything to do with the board or software? I Reinstalled OSX after wiping the hard drive, Repaired Permissions, SMC/PRAM reset and it keeps coming back, can anyone please help me, I know how to diagnose most things on macs but this is pissing me off, esp. since its a brand new board, any help would be appreciated, thanx.
