Breaking out of contract to get iPhone 4S/5

I needed a new phone since the one I had was 3 years old and failing on me. I decided to get a HTC Evo 3D when it first came out, not knowing iPhone would be coming out for Sprint. Any suggestions on the cheapest way to get out of my current contract to purchase the new iPhone?

The cheapest and only way is to cancel your contract and pay the ETF or buy the iPhone 4s/5 non subsidized.

You signed a contact and you now need to live within the terms, there's no easy way to get out of what you agreed too.
 
Hmm... so when you pay the ETF, is the phone reusable with Sprint and can sell it as a clean ESN?
