I'm off to the Regents Street Apple store in a bit, and I know they offer a student discount service on the apple website, but if I show them my student ID card from my university, will I get a student discount?

Quick answer would be appreciated

Thanks :)

Yes they will offer a discount however it is not as much as the online higher educational discount you can get.

Oh, that's all right, I'd rather pay a bit more and have what I need now rather than in a few days :)

Thanks a lot for your help!

New macbook education discount in retail stores?

Can you get the Macbook in the UK in the retail stores and still get the discount for education or higher education.

Definitely check with your school's store first, as sometimes they offer additional specials / bundles / promotions. Also, the software may be significantly cheaper at your school store.

Registered just to add something in here :D Though I was going to get around to it anyway.

Im in pretty much the same boat as you, i rang apple the other day. The HE discount is 14%, that should be instore as well as online, it applies to apple branded resellers as well.

Just got to decide which one i want now :(

Just a quick heads up-

I went to the Apple Store in Jacksonville yesterday and they gave me a $100 educational discount on the 2.0 Ghz MacBook. The online Apple Store only says $50 off.
