OK so I got this already jailbroken and unlocked iPhone 4 running iOS 4.0.1.
Trying to speed it up I started deleting all the unnecessary *.lproj folders on it and I must have f*cked something up because while I was opening the camera app it got stuck. home button brought me back to home screen and I simply respringed and rebooted, but the device bricked up on me!

I thought "oh no worries, happened to me before on my 3G I'll just restore it" but no can do:
I bring put it in recovery mode (cable and disk logo, connect to itunes) and try to restore but in the process iTunes gives me an error (first it was 4001 now 3004) saying the device could not be restored.
Now the phone is stuck in recovery mode again.

I tried using Tiny Umbrella to kick it out of recovery and it works, but only brings me to the "emergency calls only" screen. Upon connecting to iTunes I get the "The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported" and I can't restore or do anything.

Where do I go from here?

I turn to you as you've helped me before and I know you're brilliant at this. hope your up for the task again..

PS
any idea what could I have done to ***** it up? I read everywhere that deleting .lproj files is safe..

Cheers mate
