Was installing Spite on my iPhone 4 and when it went to reboot, my phone is just stuck on the Apple boot screen. Usually this wouldn't be a problem, just enter DFU mode and/or restore the phone.

However, my sleep button has been stuck down for quite some time which apparently is a reasonably common problem, and this means I can't reset the phone or enter DFU mode. My phone doesn't show up in iTunes or TinyUmbrella either. I have tried running the battery down and restarting the phone but this does nothing, still stuck on the boot screen.

Is there anything I can do? Help would be MUCH appreciated!

RecBoot seems to have the same problem as TinyUmbrella and iTunes in that it does not register an iPhone being plugged in. I get the 'Your device is now going into Recovery Mode' message but nothing happens, just still sits on the Apple boot logo.
