Hi

I'm in some big trouble. I recently jailbroke my iPhone 6 on iOS 8.1 with pangu jailbreak. After installing som tweaks i decided that i wanted to restore the phone.

So i went to settings > restore from factory, and after this the restore loading-bar is not moving and the screen turns into a yellow tint (i think it's from the f.lux tweak.) When i restart the phone it just does the same thing again.

I tried hold power and home button but it didn't work, i can't plug it into itunes because it says sim is locked.

So please! What can i do? I really need help!

Oh buddy...ya you never....EVER hit restore on the phone while jailbroken. Restore in iTunes while loading a fresh IPSW, you're fine, but not just resetting the device as files get moved around after a jailbreak.

Leave the phone plugged in with iTunes up and try holding the home and power button for 10 seconds then release the power button but continue holding the home button. Also try holding power/home/volume up or power/home/volume down and you may have some luck.

Unlock the sim maybe? Also NEVER EVER use reset settings on a jailbroken device. Thats like jb 101. try putting it into recovery mode and restore with itunes. Jb cant brick a device. The only eay to brick it is throwing it against the wall

Yea I'm trying, I did this now and chose Restore+Update in iTunes. After 5 min the phone reboots and is still stuck in this loop.

Damn damn damn damn

Yea, I know this now... So what do you mean? That there might be any other way to solve this problem? Are there 3rd party tools for this?

To get iTunes to notice the phone:
1) Plug in the iPhone
2) Hold home and Power button until screen goes dark and apple logo appears
3) keep holding the buttons until the screen goes blank again
4) When screen goes blank release power button and wait for iTunes to say an iPhone in Recovery mode has been connected.
5) Restore phone in iTunes from here.

Your pretty much putting the phone in DFU and since I cant remember the time to hold the buttons I just remember this. Hope this helps.

I got in a boot loop the first time I jailbroke my iPad with Pangu. No idea what happened. The 'storage full' alert popped up. The iPad rebooted than that was it. Wouldn't come on. I'd start it up Apple logo would show then it would cut off.

Couldn't get it in DFU mode. Would just cut out a few seconds after the apple logo appeared.

So I started iTunes. Held the home button and plugged it in whilst holding the home button, thankfully iTunes detected and the iTunes plug in appeared and I was able to restore.
