I ran into the event of an unfortunate event where installing a program into OSX Leopard is causing it to boot into a blue screen. I installed ClearDock and rebooted the system. Passed POST and appeared to finish loading the OS. Just goes to a blue screen after the gray screen.

I assume I have to reinstall the OS. Am I wrong? Also, using an Dynex USB keyboard, I can't get the mac to boot into Safe Mode by holding Shift while booting.

If I do have to re-install the OS, how would I boot into the DVD? I was able to open the drive using a paper clip.

EDIT: Mac Powered on fully into safe mode. No idea how to un-install this. Could anyone help?
