This morning while sending a text message my iPhone 15 Pro, running iOS 17.0.2 completely froze up - a couple minutes later the screen went black. I took it to the Apple Store, they said it was bricked and gave me a new one. I had no previous issues prior to this morning.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Glad to hear Apple Store could replace it immediately so you did not have to wait for a replacement a while. Sometimes, products can be defective unknowingly after quality control is performed or the quality control fails to detect it.
