convergent macrumors 68040 May 6, 2008 3,034 3,083 Apr 12, 2017 #2 You only want to have one of them running as a router. So either you need to setup the XB3 to basically be a bridge, or the Orbi. Its probably easiest to put the Orbi in bridge mode if you don't know how to change the XB3.
