Bright Blue Horizontal Lines on white background

Hi,

I'm new to the Mac world and bought my first Mac book pro in August. Since then I've been very happy with it.

Three days ago my Mac has begun displaying blue horizontal lines, when I turn the computer on. Each day it is now happening and clears up after about 30mins of being on.

Does any one have any ideas what might be wrong. Do I need to take the computer back to the store or is this something I can fix.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
