Bright splotch on bottom left corner of 2017 MBP

It’s not super noticeable
There are no scratches or dents on the machine -

It's a bit hard to see via a photograph but it looks like the outline of someone flexing their arm in the corner.

Any idea what is the possible cause and possible fix?

Take it back. That’s not acceptable. Possibly something to do with the bonding between the LCD and cover glass.

Dirty screen effect.

Google it. And then get a replacement.
