I have a early 2011 MacBook Pro and recently I've been getting ever so small bright spots on the screen. there is one on the top left of the screen and one on the right side.

What could be causing this? I cleaned my screen already.

Mine look exactly like that!

I never touch my screen though? Could it be touching the keyboard or something when closed?

Usually these marks appear out of the box and are considered defective panels, but they can appear over time and most likely caused from applying pressure to the panel. If you have AppleCare, i would suggest calling them and seeing if you can get them to replace the panel.

I have heard of cases where individuals putting thick keyboard guards causes these pressure marks. The spacing between the lid and keyboard is very small and jamming stuff in between will obviously put pressure on the LCD.

Sounds good. I'll do that over winter break in a few weeks. Thank you so much!
